Unframed Art in Interiors

You don’t always have to present the recipient with a finished framed piece of art. There is nothing wrong with giving an unframed canvas or paper work. Perfectly acceptable as it still shows thought and perhaps the person will want to leave that canvas unframed anyway!

Do you need to frame the canvas paintings? Will unframed art look well in you room?

There is no definite answer. It depends on your taste and your room furniture and elements of decor you have there. Sometimes, frame can serve as a nice “gateway” between the painting and the furniture. Sometimes – frame “kills” the art.

For this post, we’ve made a several short of Lena’s paintings in her own home, hung on the walls unframed. Take a look and see if you like it. Note that when shipped to a USA/Canada address, Lena’s paintings usually arrive stretched, ready to hang. So, you can put them on the walls right away and decide whether to frame or not – later.
